NIGHT MARKET IN ARPORA :
Arpora market begins in the evening and lasts till late at night. The market is full of local tourists and foreigners buying souvenirs. You will find here a variety of food stalls, cloth sellers and knickknack vendors, selling a diverse range of minute items.
The area that surrounds the market is full of clubs with adequate parking space. You can first go to these bars, have unlimited fun and then continue your shopping.
BAGA MARKET:
A Tibetan market on Baga Road is open from October to May where you will find interesting jewelry and accessories for both men and women. Apart from that, prayer flags, bells, showpieces, and even furniture are available in the market.
There is one more popular market at Baga Beach which held every Saturday night. There you will see numerous vendors selling jewelry, handicrafts, clothes, goodies and trinkets, etc. The availability of shacks and terrace cafes nearby makes this place more interesting to grab everyone’s attention.
PANAJI MARKET:
If you want to experience the real flavors of traditional Goan shopping, go to Mapusa Market on Friday morning at Panaji. You can buy here spices, pickles, fruits, vegetables, fresh fish, cashew nuts, port wine, and curry pastes.
However, you can also look for textiles, clothing, jewelry and other items at a reasonable price. Test your bargaining skills at this wonderful place and don’t forget to try the scrumptious food from the nearby eateries.
COCOROOTS:
You must visit this place if you are jewelry lover. It is a perfect place for unique jewelry shopping as this market has a vast collection of ethnic jewelry made up of coconuts, animals’ bone and horn (that are made from dead animals). You can buy some items as souvenirs to make your friends and family happy by gifting such incredible things.
INGO’S SATURDAY NIGHT BAZAAR:
This is a quite a famous market of Goa where you will see shopkeepers lining up many stalls of products like carpets, fashion accessories, handicrafts, textiles, spices and more.
You will be surprised to see the marvelous handicrafts of local Goa that you will not get easily from anywhere else. Show some bargaining skills while purchasing the market products. It is usually open from November, 4 pm to 11 pm.
SUMMARY:
These are not only the places to shop in Goa. there are many other places also so when you visit Goa never come back without having shopping. If you come back without shopping then it’s waste of visiting Goa.
